USA text message reminders

No text messages/SMS in USA
Since March 1, 2010 does not text messages/SMS work to most US mobile numbers. It's our text message provider (clickatell.com) that has been blocked by most US carriers. We don't know when it will be fixed.

Banners
We have added a banner to cover our SMS/Text messages costs. If you want to hide the banner you can buy Extra SMS/Text messages under your Profile, you can then also send more than 2 messages/day.

Emails in UTF format
We are now sending all emails in UTF-8 format. You should not notice any difference but if the email reminders look strange please contact us.

Default reminder time
You can now adjust the default reminder time for new events. Change it in your Profile.

New mobile numbers must be verified
If you add a new mobile number you must now go the Profile page and verify that number. A SMS with a code will be sent to that number and you can activate it.
Update! If you buy extra SMS under your profile you don't have to verify new numbers.

Automatically calculate age
• Type {YEAR} in an event and the calendar will automatically calculate the age from the year. Example: Wills {1980}th birthday today! It will be outputed as Wills 26th birthday today!

• Add a background color for each event or for groups.

Drag and Drop, editable todos and no more icons
• You can now drag and drop events in the calendar.
• The todo-list is editable, just click on any todo-item to edit it. You can also drag todo-items to the calendar.

Publish calendar online
1. Create a group under Groups.
2. Select Publish group online Yes.
3. Update.

5. Use the ics link if you want to view/subscribe in a calendar with iCalendar support like Mozilla, example http://www.mymemorizer.com/ics/5494.ics
6. Click on the events in the calendar that you want to share and choose Link to/Group and select the published group.

1. Create a group under Groups.
2. Select Share group with User and add the users(email address=username), they must have created an account.
3. Tell them to Join the group under Groups.
4. Add events as usual but choose Link to/Group and select the shared group.

Import Outlook Calendar (.csv)
Added .csv file import support. Export your Outlook calendar to a "comma separated values" file to import it here.
You can also import csv data from other calendar programs, as long as they follow the same format as Outlook Calendar. Or import as iCalendar(.ics) or vCalendar(vcs).

Select repeat every month, click on advanced and select On the first,second,third,fourth or last weekday. If you want to repeat every year select also every month and just set the interval to 12.

You might have received a reminder for wrong date today when we were updating to the latest calendar version, sorry for that. If you receive reminders for wrong dates please contact us directly.

Reminder times
You can now receive email reminders at any time and not just every hour. If you want to receive SMS/Text Message reminders at any time you must buy extra SMS/Text Messages, click on your Profile and Buy SMS. If you buy extra SMS you will still get the 2 free SMS/day but more will be reduced from your extra SMS account. See the Help section for a buy SMS tutorial.

New time picker
Instead of a dropdown list with hour:minute we have added a textbox where you can type the time(HH:MM or HH:MM PM/AM) or click on the arrows to set the start and and stop time.

Select events
 It is easier to select events if you have multiple events on a day now. Just click on the event icon or text and it will be selected, before it selected the last for that day. If you click outside the icon or text you will insert a new event.

Subject
 We have added a subject for each event and removed the text limit for the description. But remember that only the first 110 signs(subject+description) will be sent using SMS/Text Message. You don't need to use the subject or just use the subject and no description.
